LifeQuest NW Counseling Services is a non-profit organization that provides low-cost counseling services for those unable to afford full cost counseling rates and co-pays. This is accomplished by partnering with local churches for referrals and counseling sites and by providing opportunities for local Christian college and university graduate students to develop their skills in a supportive environment. LifeQuest NW counselors are interns (graduate students in the final year of degree work) and registered interns (post-graduate/pre-licensed counselors) who work closely with independent supervisors as well as supervision provided through the counselor’s schools. Each counselor is dedicated to a Christian worldview and an integrated counseling approach which holds to the truth of God’s Word. Because some issues may be beyond the scope of our counselors training and experience, LifeQuest NW has a strategic alliance with Christian Counseling Centers of Oregon and Washington and will refer to CCCOW those clients who need more extensive help. To offset the additional costs of this, LifeQuest NW is also involved in raising benevolence funds to assure the needed care will be received regardless of financial need.
